Cheon-gye-sa [Heavenly-Rooster Temple] is a small but intriguing shamanic temple just above the Cheonje-yeon Falls and below Gwangyeong-sa. San-shin is prominent in the lower-right corner of the Shamanic-spirits icon, behind the main Buddha statues. A San-shin-dosa stands to his right.

Cheon-gye-sa also hosts this even-more-crowded all-Shamanic- spirits painting, with San-shin also dominating the lower-right corner, a San-shin-dosa to his above-left (green robe!), the Sam-shin front-&-center (below the Jade Emperor), and Yong-wang in the lower-left corner, complimentary to San-shin. Below are two shots of the cliff-worship shrines above the Main Hall. Chinese characters are carved into the stones, including a "Bul" [Buddha] that resembles a dollar-sign...
Below: Dal-seong-sa [Moon-Sage Temple] enshrines an interesting variety of icons, including a unique Catholic-echoing mother-with-baby-boy painting (a fertility icon), the national flag, the character for "Heaven" to its right, flafs of other nations (below), the 8 angelic daughters of the Jade Emperor, Chil-seong & North Star (far right), Yong-wang (the photo below-right) -- and of course, San-shin.
Left: San-shin holds feather-fan and multi-colored bullocho in the Assembly-of-Spirits at Cheon-un-sa [Heavenly-Cloud Temple]. Below: the same temple hosts this standard-but-excellent matched-set of San-shin (L) and Dok-seong (R), with a San-shin statue in front of both.

Yak-myeong- sa [Medicinal-bright Temple] boasts this fine matched-pair. The San-shin seems quite similar to the one at Ma-i- san Tap-sa; must be the same artist.

Seon-gwang-sa [Immortal Shining Temple] offers an unusually brown-skinned San-shin holding a single bullocho, being offered plenty of peaches-of-immortality, while his tiger seems to be a satire on Jay Leno.
