Tower-Pagoda Temple with a great Sanshin-gak
This magnificent Seonang-dang sacred zelkova tree, hundreds of years old, stands as guardian in-front.
"Botap-sa" means "Treasure-Pagoda Temple".  I visited in April 2011.
This charming, entirely modern, bikkuni (nun's) temple is in the western side of Jincheon-gun County, built in 1990-92, in
northwestern North Chungcheong Province (not far from Seoul, fairly easy to get to), at the foot of Manroe-san, 612m at its summit.  This peak is
head of the Manroe-jimaek sub-range-cluster, which is a southeastern spur off the Geumbuk-jeongmaek Range.  All of Jincheon is bounded on
north, east & west by the Geumbuk-jeongmaek Range and the Hannam-Geumbuk-jeongmaek Range, which gives it excellent geomantic qualities.
