Shamanic San-shin Worship Site
in the SE area of Taebaek-san
These photos were sent to me by my friend James Card,
writer on Korea's natural areas and  fly-fishing guide for
Korea's remote mountain streams.


He wrote: "It's south of Taebaek city; located on Highway
35/31 on the way to Hyeondong Village.  It's south (and
downhill), about 5 minutes from the Cheongok-san
Korean Forest Service campground forest."

Azure Dragon Hermitage
Mountain-spirit Praying
Mountain Shrine  
        (legal term for a Shamanic shrine in this region)
