We had a great dinner & evening with Beth & John,

After touristing SF, we visited
my dear old friend Roger, who
then lived in a fantastic dome in
the woods outside of Durham,
the site of Duke University in
North Carolina. He was as
healthy and happenin' as ever,
and we enjoyed a half-dozen slow
rainy days just hangin' out. Saw
a hot Allman Brothers Band
concert together (no photo).
