Taebaek-san Buseok-sa's
Sutra-Printing Woodblocks
interesting Medieval Treasures in one of Korea's greatest temples
Another nationally-designated heritage-Treasure of Buseok-sa is its collection of woodblocks used to
print Buddhist scriptures, caved around 1200 to 1250 CE.  They are stored in this "Dharma Library",
and include three different versions of the highly important
Hwaeom-gyeong  [Avatamsaka or Flower-
Garland Sutra], central to the Hwaeom-jong school of Buddhism that Master Uisang founded here.
