This excellent Sanshin-taenghwa [Mountain-Spirit Icon-painting] is a recent modern
copy of the venerable one in the nearby Shinheung-sa Jungak-dan, including its
folk-painting-classic "tiger glaring up at a magpie on a pine-branch" motif.
The outdoor shrine of "upthrusting" rocks is for all nature-spirits and earth-energy,
but especially the Gyeryong-san Mountain-spirit(s).
Chilseong-taenghwa [Seven Stars Icon-painting], "god of fate/destiny" derived
from Chinese Daoism, with (quite unusual) the
Four Heavenly Kings included.

The humble Main Dharma Hall of Guryong-am, framed by persimmons
Funeral Altar inside, featuring Jijang-bosal the Bodhisattva of Afterlife-Salvation, and a ritual-portrait
of great 14th-century Meditation Master Na-ong, who is said to have resided here for a time.
